Heard back from TOM's and no news.

Still delivery for June/July and they didn't have any price points for us. Sorry we don't have any new new news!

I saw some Grazio tail lights that were priced ~70,000 Yen ($720ish) for the GT86. Just a reference point where the Tom's may be priced around.

Here is the vid that shows the tail lights in action! God I want these so bad.

After seeing the video and how they light up.. Not that interested any more. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the Colin's and crystal eyes light up better. You can kinda see the individual LEDs in the red light bar for the Toms when they light up. The boomerangs for the parking and brake lights are really really, nice though, turn signals boomerang look out of place. Is that video the final product?

Yeah, I don't like the LED dots either. I was hoping for a continuous flow of lights... I'm sure if I really wanted to I could crack them open and insert an LED strip of some sort. I like the outter-most "C" brake light the most. I could live with the lights, but I was really expecting something more solid-looking for the proposed price point.

I'm planning on buying a set and severely updating the LEDs. They do look pretty pitiful.

Wait... So is the outter "C" light the DRL? It appears the inner light that's red is the brake light and the innermost orange light is the turn signal.

The outer C is technically the parking light.. so it'll only turn on when with the first or second click with the head lights. Your DRLs will stay on with the first click though, so you could drive during the day with DRLs and parking lights on if you wanted.

Gotcha. Thanks! Then that's all I really care about. In Alaska during the summer the sun pretty much never goes down, so I would love for the outter "C" lights to stay on with my DRL headlight "C" lights. Like I said, I could live with the other ones if I had to. I'm mostly wanting the outter lights since they compliment the headlights so well.

If I didn't have a BRZ then I wouldn't care about these at all, honestly. Money would be better spent elsewhere. haha
