I'm hoping for a June release as well, since that's just about as long as I'm wiling to wait. I've been waiting long enough...
It seems June is likely though considering the 2014 tC goes on sale in June, and all these 10 series go on sale in June as well, but I'm wondering why they've been holding out on the specifics of the base 2014 FR-S....
All I wanna do right now is

I don't think those glowing badges arent too bad.
Its probably just lights up/off when you lock/unlock the car only anyways.

At least they aren't some super retarded color that doesn't match the car.

The big blue SCION sign inside the car looks lame though, and that glowing shiftknob is probably lame to the point of distracting.

Since it's a "special edition" vehicle, they'll make you go through hell to try and order it. We had the same issue when the FJ "Trail Teams" edition were released when people wanted the Black TRD Wheel. Eventually we had to provide customer info, VIN and photos of "why they need a new set of wheels". Plus must special edition parts would push the pricing into the atmosphere since, technically, only a body shop would order it to repair a vehicle in a collision.

I don't understand what the fuss is about those headlights. This isn't some euro german or italian car, regardless if the 86 comes with them or not. I see enough cars driving down the road with those leds blaring in the daylight. Leave that to the luxury cars, it's what sets them apart. I sware I'm going to wake up tommorow and a chevy aveo will come standard with LED DRLs. I personally do not like the look. VW Group/BMW has done a terrible thing to the aftermarket community. What happened to the good old days when people liked Japanese cars because they were different and better than european cars for a fraction of the price.

Call me old school but give me non-cluttered projection and a key I can turn.

Just saying, seems like a lot of typing just to rant that you don't like the headlights.

LED DRL is the new 'in thing' everyone is starting to put them into everything. They're not just a Luxo brand thing anymore.

It's only a matter of time before all the civic kids take over the 86 scene and ruin it.
