you weren't owned. Owned implies you were in the wrong. You were the victim of vandalism by some @$$ who a) was jealous of you or b) thought the car was an Aston, and figured you were rich enough to fix any damages and egged it.
I'm inclined to think the former.

Happened to my other car , egg won't hurt the paint especially on the colder days ... But I would break their hand if I catch them ! They need a lesson for that !
