That ImportTuner article, in the section called "Pros of using E85", mentions tempterature twice:
Frankly I do not understand the comment about "initiates a cooler intake charge" but I am not an engineer, and neither was the author of that article. Shame they didn't go into more technical detail. Nothing really mentions cooler operating temperatures. Maybe @Visconti and @FA20Club.com can shed light on the topic. |

I feel like that's going to be a personal preference on how much "power" you're seeking. I was able to add ~30 hp & ~15 lb-ft of torque to the wheels, and that was enough for me.. esp. with the torque dip eliminated from my car
After this past weekend.. I noticed my hi-speed highway cruising MPG did go up (from previous trips on the same route). By hi-speed, I mean 75-85 mph cruising.. I averaged 28-29 mpg before on that same trip crusing at those same speeds (during the winter too with colder temps). This past weekend, I got a surprising 31.4 mpg.. and I had my A/C on the entire trip too.. I even had stretches where I was going 90mph (when I was by myself on the hwy). I was running 93 octane of course, not E85. My unproffesional explaination is that it's noticeably easier to maintain cruising speeds with the added mid-range power.. I notice my "on-the-fly" MPG guage is generally much higher, especially on downward inclines.. Before, I needed a bit more 'gas' pedal to maintain my speed around ~80mph, even on a downward slope of the hwy. |

That's what I've observed this past weekend during my outta town trip running on 93 octane, so this week I'll see if E85 does any good for lower the oil temps or not. |

Then again, I'm not so sure if I'll be able to DD a car with the loud exhaust I have now PLUS headers haha. I'm thinking of the tune first. However, it'll be a while down the road before I do that. If I ended up buying everything I wanted RIGHT when I got the money for it I would have nothing else to do later. I wanna make it feel like a new car every year so I'm gonna try and slow down on my modifying. I'm thinking if I should get a tune soon, headers, cosmetic changes, or nothing at all. We'll see That race... I mean... that high speed drive up and down those back roads were awesome. Definitely going to have to meet up again some time. Hopefully with others. I would love to see more people. We should make this a frequent thing. Meeting up and driving around NE GA. If anybody wants to make this a weekly, biweekly, or monthly meet, it would be great. Let me know Thanks for the test drive @reeves

Whose white frs is in B lot parking at Hartsfield Jackson Intl airport in ATLANTA. I'm parked beside you! Don't worry, she is safe and sound.

Driving to work today I saw a bright red FR-S in the express lane on 85S. I drive like 6 miles on the highway to work and its always rush hour so I just stay in the right lane. As soon as I saw him, I weaved my way to the lane next to the express lane. I sped to catch up to him but once I was about 100 feet behind him he stopped accelerating. I guess he noticed me :P We shared thumbs up and went on our way. Stupid and reckless but it made my morning
. That's still one of the only Twins that I've seen on the road without planning on it.
