I'll let you know how it feels. I have a CF Driveshaft and a Lightweight pulley.

Is there anything between 3.125 and 2.87

We have several to choose from.

A 3.48" S/C Pulley = 43,022 @ 7,400 engine rpm
A 3.40" S/C Pulley = 44,034 @ 7,400 engine rpm
A 3.33" S/C Pulley = 44,960 @ 7,400 engine rpm
A 3.25" S/C Pulley - 46,066 @ 7,400 engine rpm
A 3.125" S/C Pulley = 47,909 @ 7,400 engine rpm
A 2.87" S/C Pulley = 52,166 @ 7,400 engine rpm, which is beyond the maximum impeller speed, and therefore we would advise against utilizing with this system.

Because we design our systems to reach a maximum boost pressure at redline, for a linear boost curve and maximum efficiency. Spinning a compressor faster just to intentionally bleed off cfm reduces the efficiency of operation, and therefore lessens the benefit of a high efficiency supercharger such as a Vortech.

You are most welcome.

I'm new to supercharging but there has to be a rpm difference in there. How about a 3.00.

what are your goals that youre not going to reach with the 3.125"

cant say I'd be comfy running the 2.87 but I'm sure folks will do it to make that 300whp and up happen. you'll be spinning the box up to spin limit, often

Its a 2.0L motor so I have to try and remain grounded and mature with my goals given my budget. Whatever I get with a 3.125 will be plenty for this kind of kit. Loftier goals can be achieved with a different blower, or different kit I'm sure. But thats all $,$$$.00 and with supportive mods can become $$,$$$.00 in a heartbeat

They ARE vortech, they machine everything in house, ask maybe they can MAKE you a 3.00 pulley?

Yeah ids don't want the 2.87 just because for the life of my compressor. I wanted 12 psi so you got the 3.125 on now with stock fuel ? And the wastage? How much was the wastgate. Someone find another wastage in a different thread

My sig is alittle bit ahead of 'press release'..I'm officially at 10psi, it will be another week before I get all my parts together for 12psi and I will share more with you then when I have the final specs for sure, and get a dyno up too

10PSI is pretty low for tires, I don't think 12 will be much better.

this has probably been answered countless times, but what is the optimal setup for the vortech blower if i were strictly using my car as a daily driver. is it as easy as install + tune?
