I like this hood. I'm just not sure if I'll like it more than this one from Seibon. Then again if that was Dry and close to the price of the ChargeSpeed it wouldn't even be a competition...

I'm hoping the price comes down for the diffuser. Looks great! Would you happen to know how it is installed?

$7,000 rice!
wow, just wow.

is just useless.

Lol, any body kits are pretty much useless...how much wider do you really need the rear tires to be. It's all cosmetic fluff, even the RB kit, which in my eyes looks way more ricey than this kit. Also I dunno if you have ever seen Chargespeed parts in person, but they are on a whole different level as far as quality is concerned, so if someone has the money, Chargespeed is one of the better bodykit manufacturers out there. You see $7000 for an entire kit, but I only look at it as individual pieces since I am piecemealing my entire aero kit from multiple manufacturers...$1180 for a new front bumper isn't too shabby especially since I really like the look, not to mention that it's priced high enough to keep it from being on every damn FR-S I see, uniqueness is another selling point for some people.

What's that vortex generator on the roof? Is it part of the kit or can it be ordered separately?

Also, what are the drag coefficient numbers with this kit installed (or even with just that upper vortex generator)? How much downforce on the wing at 30mph? 60mph? 120mph?

Chargespeed Updated Bodykit Pics

So Chargespeed posted up some new pics of their body kit on their website, and have decided to include LED turn signals with the bumper. They've also painted the hood to match the car so it doesnt look so weird...I actually like most of this kit.

Also it looks like all the carbon bits are being offered in FRP as well for those looking to save a few bucks but want the look!

Wow,, you would think they could match their kit a little better than that.

I like the front clip... I think the sides could have been molded a little better to match the stock curve of the body. The rear bumper clip doesn't look like it matches the lines from the rocker panels/side skirts. And the wing would look better as a pedestal. The fog light or turn signal in the mesh... would look better in a pod or something. Looks like a hole was cut in the mesh and then mounted. IMO.

Its not bad though, just subtle changes I'd make to it. At least there are people out there experimenting... would suck if everyone did the same and we were limited to the same mods.

Kudos for effort!

Ummmm....yeah....I like the body the way it came from the factory more.

The wing that is installed on the Wheeldude white FR-S is the best.
