I'd be very thankful if owners for chromium black wheels could have a look at this thread and tell me if they experience something similar

1. True, but usually cars with aftermarket rims should be lowered to complement the look or it just looks funny.

2. Yeah, but you can always run camber to fix it up front

I checked when I got home and the front bumper had gotten stuck on the parking stop, that long piece of concrete to stop cars from driving past a parking space, and had pulled/ripped the front bumper out. It's not that bad and not noticable unless you get on your hands and knees to look under the bumper.

What this does is puts a damper on my plans to get rims/tires and drop the car an inch. This is what I was afaid of from the get go. It's already a stretch to get into my garage, but this had made me think twice. It's all a chain reaction. Rims/tires will eventually lead to a drop and so on and so forth.

I don't want to drop her an inch only to go through this again and something worse.
you ALREADY scraped it. might as well drop it.

Driveways, parking lots and garages...Articulation as needed, when all possible, if not then go air. Most all my vehicles have been daily scraping static low and learned to articulate and know the roads well. Btw, I'm in L.A. we have quite different surface to contend with especially potholes; yet unlike our east coast peeps with their snow. Btw, road gators kill!
Pay to play my friend.

As far as offset goes.. The higher the number, the deeper/concave it looks? Or is it the lower the number..??

The lower the # the deeper the concave. That is, until you get into negative offset, which is even more concave.

Offset does not always dictate concavity, rim width makes a big difference as well. I basically dictates poke or sunken in look of the wheel itself.
