I wasn't referring to the motor, talking about the actual Supercharger. Besides that, the stock motor has seen 604whp on the turbo setups.

But it runs even richer and because of that is less practical from an actual MPG standpoint. If you calculate the effective MPG it spanks gasoline but that doesn't really have any practical meaning for the average user.

In many areas, E85 is both cheaper and easier to get than race gas. Here in SoCal it's hard to get race gas anywhere other than a racetrack, so you'd have to buy a bunch of it to take with you if you wanted to do a bunch of dyno tuning with it. E85 can be found within 30 minutes of most places. Not so practical as a daily use fuel, but not too bad for tracking/tuning days etc.

Yes it's about a $1 cheaper here and it's about 2 mins down the road from my house.

can we get a break down of what you all are using vs what one receives in the factory setup ? If you are running F-Con or ECUTEK or full stand alone ? If possible, what other modifications you're running engine wise to support this, or if you are entirely factory besides the mods to the kit ?

just trying to gauge if this:

http://ft86speedfactory.com/hks-gt-s...s-brz-402.html

plus some equals what you made.

motor is 100% stock.. we tuned it on ECUTEK.. we might offer difference power packages on top of the base HKS GT SC kit for various levels of HP.

I have a few questions on this kit. It's been left off my radar as I focused my attentions on Vortech and Innovate (frustratingly).

1. What, specifically, do you have done to the car as far as power or supporting mods beyond the contents of the basic HKS kit that is available to me?

2. How much more does MS109 give you (guesstimate) over the same setup with a 93 octane tune? I'm after a DD and there is no E85 in CT.

3. What is the install like on this kit? THe IC piping and the cooler itself seem massive. What sort of cutting/modification is involved?

4. What is the pricing and availability like on this kit?

I know that answers to some of these questions may exist in other threads related to HKS but I wanted to ask Evasive directly. Anyone else feel free to chime in.

Thanks

From what I can see it looks like the same compressor with the restrictor removed. The intercooler and piping look custom. Remember this is a race car so I don't think they had a "kit" build in mind. They're going to have a ton of other mods because they race this car. They also have a "street" car running around with the same HKS kit (tuner kit). I'm hoping they take some of the lessons learned from the race car, play with it on the street car, and make a modified version of streetable guys.

Yeah, for those of you asking, this won't really work as a "kit", at least not for a street car. The bumper beam wont fit, and it looks like they cut off the left side of the beam support even to run that piping.

That's not to say similar power levels can't be made with a smaller intercooler, you'd just have to deal with more heat soak.

I've read MS109 makes about 5% more power. They might be able to run a little more boost and different air/fuel mixtures with it so not sure what this would do on pump. I'm just glad they are playing with it, we need more superchargers making real power!

So true! But dosent the greddy kit require an oil cooler. And I don't see that front mount working on a daily driver

the base SC kit right out of the box is a direct bolt on to the car without any modifications. What you see on our race car is completely custom based on similar layout as the HKS D1 car from Japan. We did not change our pulley size, just simply removed the restrictor which allowed much more air flow to the SC intake. Fuel system needs to be beefed up with injectors and pump as well. The HKS SC unit is more than capable of making over 400 WHP with built motor.. just have to make sure there is proper cooling for the engine (both intercooler and oil)

We have these units arriving to us in about 2 weeks and we are already taking orders. Click below link for pricing and more info
https://www.evasivemotorsports.com/m...ry_Code=HKS-SC

all that is needed is Ecutek and tuning.. we can offer installation / tuning package for this kit and like i've said before will offer different power packages on top of the base kit.
