CF roof as aftermarket is possible. Vorsteiner made a custom CF roof for the M3 E90 Sedan with OEM look and quality. Vorsteiner is known for high quality. Hope they make something for the GT86/BRZ.

Can't believe somebody seriously thinks a CF roof is viable for this market segment. You're looking at at least a $3k markup to save what, 10-20 lbs at most?

Plus, it's almost guaranteed somebody will make a CF roof... CF doors, etc.

Damn Slide, I thought you were on top of your game when you first joined this forum... talking about Skyline GTR's are slow this and Type R's are fasters then that!!

Let's be honest here, a CF roof as an OEM piece is not going to happen on this car and was never part of the design process. There was a lot of CF pieces on the concepts and I'm sorry if you thought those would port over to the production unit especially if their target goal was to keep the cost down. Sorry mate, it just doesn't work that way. :happy0180:

Lol can't recall saying that but sure we will go with it.

Reason for post is no one has spoken about it since the tease vid and someones "csi" invesigation into the rooflines.

Oh wait, it wasn't you but another guy from Australia! Type [R]

After seeing the 86 pictures from Fuji, that is the car that we're going to get. US/Canada/PR and whoever is receiving the Scion brand will have some minor cosmetic changes.
