Red tail lights: Will it cloud/crack?

Hello folks. I've been wanting to do my tail lights completely red and I wanted to get some collective feedback from folks who have done it already, especially those of you who have done it at least several months ago. I've seen a few cracked tail lights, and cloudy ones as well, which is why I haven't done it yet. Thanks in advance for the help!

Depends on how you make the tails red. Are you planning on using vinyl wraps, painting the exterior of the light housing, the interior bezels, etc.?

I have seen owners of other vehicles wrap their lights and then later have issues with cracking and "spiderwebs" on the light housing.

I've painted quite a few sets of tails for all different cars over the years. Never had an issue when using quality paint products

Thanks for all the feedback guys. What I'd like to do is paint/clear. Vinyls that I've seen don't look clear enough, they are cloudy. I've seen cars with a similar crack to what @charged86 got and I wanted to avoid it. Have any of you got them professionally done and know what they used to do the job? I don't want to go to a shop that will simply use VHT and clear it on top, because I believe it can still crack.
