Isn't the current shifter behaves like that? You pull the ring and you can shift to reverse?

Although that design of ring got me some crazy idea, similar to the coloring scheme of the MKI turbo concept....

EDIT: @kanundrum you beat me to it.. Speaking of which, there were lots of fun stuff in the Mk I era. The name of that color, the designs, and the coloring scheme of Mk I turbo. Apparently, Toyota designers have watched too much porn.

Therefore buy a BRZ...my dad plays the waiting with cars too. Then ends up with something else becausue the concept to production lacks or just never comes out. New Lexs CUV never came out so he finally bought an LS because they're offered in AWD now.

Yeah its my own fault for playing the waiting game. I swear this is my last one as soon after I get behind the wheel of the new WRX. From there I'll make my definitive choice.

Get a BR-Z. I've kind of realized that the BR-Z is the more grown up of the two cars. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my FR-S and everything about it, but I just feel like Subaru made the car for adults, not kids like me. The FR-S appeals more to people in my age group (18-25).

Yup, exactly one of my reasons why I prefer the BRZ. Even if I fall in that 18-25 age group you stated.

However I still like my AWD Subarus due to the weather conditions my region receives, but I'm willing to walk away from that for a RWD BRZ.
