go to scion.com, build the FR-S you want, take that to your dealer, tell them to get you that exact car, you pay the price from your build. It's part of the Scion buying process that most dealers will do with you after finding a car to make sure pricing matches the current Pure Price.

I'll post what I did last week when the exact same thread was made...again. You can buy the FR-S in snowy states for $1000 under MSRP right now. I'm also sure there are cheaper ones somewhere in the US where rear wheel drive vehicles don't sell well.

Those same snow states also sell BRZ's at or near invoice, just like we all suspected before any of the twins were available. For those that prefer the BRZ, invoice price makes it only a few hundred more than someone paying full MSRP for an FR-S. That's another reason why Pure Price sucks Pure Ass.

MSRP on a manual car with non-premium paint is $24,950 last I checked.

There was a mid year price increase of $300. The MSRP for Texas(slightly higher delivery too) is now $25,305 with delivery, before TT&L.

Pure Price never said anything about MSRP. It was always: "the price you see is the price you pay". That means it could be $1,000,000 if they wanted to, or $1000.

Ok so I have been going back and forth online with a local dealer where I live.

They have a whiteout manual with bespoke audio and a rear cargo mat. Its $26465.

I emailed them saying I did not want bespoke audio or a rear cargo mat and said I would not consider car unless the discounted it.

I just got an email from the saying the will go down to $25965.

So I now know that you can get them to move on price.

My only dilemma now is:
Try and haggle for more $$$ off.
Wait and get one without the BeSpoke audio and cargo mat.
Go ahead and buy this one at their offered price.

Wait. You're still paying $600 over base price (unless there are other options you didn't list) and that's nothing to sneeze at, tell them what you want and let them know you're willing to wait for it, there's no way they'll come down on the price then, but it'll be cheaper than anything else.

Just my opinion though, you'll never get $600 worth of satisfaction out of a stereo you don't want or trunk mats.

Well technically its 25305 + 220 (gotta pay extra for whiteout) = 25525.

So its around ~400 over base price.

Is BeSpoke really that bad? If so maybe I will wait.

I'm assuming the removed the trunk mat all together, since it requires no actual installation.

Don't ask if the Bespoke is that bad, instead factor in what head unit you can choose on your own for the $440 they are charging, plus the cost of selling your stock unit should you wait for one without Bespoke. The stock unit should net you around $150 so you theoretically now have a $590 budget for the head unit.

Yes, you might spend more that the allotted $590 to choose your own, but it most likely will be a significant improvement over the Bespoke from what I've read.

I'm extremely happy with the base radio and have no plans of changing it, it does what I need and things I do not need. I cannot speak to the BeSpoke because I do not like touch screens so I avoided it altogether. Many are happy with it, some are extremely unhappy to the point of trying to get a refund, I believe a thread has been linked.
