anyone know if Toyota dealership able upgrade the 2012/2013 FRS with some of the new "10 series" features?..

Solar-charged illuminating shift knob
Smart Key and push-button start

would like to have the power start button and solar charged shift knob to my current FRS woudl be nice.

While they do need to have access its up to them who gets them. In the case of the black TRD wheels on the FJ you have to prove to Toyota that you need a replacement. There are guys with that specific wheel that are scratched up to all hell and Toyota will NOT give them a replacement.

That being said hopefully all of these "updates" will be available on the refresh in a few years so that we can eventually get our hands on them.

Ok for everyone that attacked my FULLY ACCURATE postings earlier why haven't all the Prii running around with factory glowing badges (blue) on the car (enabled while headlights are on) been arrested and beaten.

Oh yeah, because as i tried to point out thru the ignorant assumptions, it is how and where the light goes that is crucial...like i said earlier not Lamps or headlights means a different set of rules... thanks for playing, please learn to read.

The headlights and new headunit? are a huge leap forward.

The glowing badges are kaka...how hard could it be to swap them to non-glowing badges?
