Oh did I mention Tada-san isn't Toyota USA Marketing person?

Seriously, you're pointing a finger to wrong person.
No worries. That's why he's a "Subaru dude" and not a "Toyota guy". hahaha

I think this is cool! You FR-S guys deserve a little pampering! I might have to snatch a set of those headlights just to have an extra set! I would hope USDM headlights would be a hair cheaper than JDM GT-86 headlights. Too bad no fog lights, still, for you guys.

The best thing about the headlights from my understanding is that since this an OFFICIAL US model, Toyota dealerships HAVE to have access to the part...and Toyota has to produce the part for 10 years.

Now it's just how much? because BRZ headlights alone are 800$ each.(correct me if I'm wrong please)Even if they sold it it's a pretty high price to pay not to mention the fact that they might not sell it to people with out VIN. So I mean if you wanna be rich lol own on of these and be the middle man to sell the parts? lol

You should be able to sell your bespoke for $300 to $400 if you act fast =)

When I called subaru 6 months ago, it was going to be around 3k for everything needed to install the brz headlight on my frs.

But you can do alot with 800$, aside from getting one light, So 1600$ that's so many things you can do, in fact I think if you don't care about the looks or led, you can get hid in those for even less. I have nothing agianst people who do want it, In fact i would buy it too, but at 1600$ more. A BRZ is such a better option.

Does that include the headlight adjustment switch? I don't know if you guys already have a hole for that or not. Otherwise it's about $925 each BRZ headlight:

Edit: @OrbitalEllipses, his link is MUCH more reasonable.

Those are cheaper than GR STI headlights, which are $700 each.

the silver paint and the light-up emblems don't excite me at all, but I'm happy for you FR-S guys that you can finally get your hands on some factory USDM HIDs.

true but if you want to talk opportunity costs, then that's a slippery slope argument.

my point still stands that it'll be cheaper than importing
