They washed mine when I picked it up. Swirl marks like nobodies business. Washed it myself shortly thereafter, looked pristine. I didn't think about the front bumper being drilled when I purchased it, fortunately Florida doesn't require front plates, so they didn't.

Check the wheel nuts I had a stripped one right front they replaced the stud and nut then rue torqued all nuts
They don't know how to install mud flaps and the prep guys can't read instructions they drilled my front plate holes even with written instructions from the salesman they swaped the plastic mesh thing the day I picked it up with one from a demo car

This is a must -- I got screwed and they gave me 87 instead. Now I gotta find a way to get rid of 87 and fill with 91 on this car. I can let it evap out and wait a couple of weeks, which i'm probably going to do

Or you could just burn through the 87 quickly and fill up with 91. I'm sure tons of people (myself included) unfortunately got 87 as their dealer fill, but it's not going to hurt anything.

Is it possible to have the fuel drained by the dealer? How did you find out that it was only 87 octane?

Easy --
ME: You guys filled my gas tank? What type of gas?
Dealer: Regular
ME: Uhh, I heard on forums and manuals that you're suppose to put premium
Dealer: Oh, no you'll be fine on regular...
ME: uhh.....

I don't think they'll lie about giving you shitty gas when they said they gave you shitty gas. I don't think you can drain it from the tank, but I know that if you leave your car sitting there the gas will evap. right now I'm going to let the car run idle without moving it so it's not under load. This way I wont run into issues too much, then head over to the gas station within a week or so and fill up on premium.

Btw -- this is capitol toyota over in san jose. They also ****ed me on the 2000 celica trade in.

I was kind of surprised they'd admit it.
