Shows a sloppy QA ethic when they don't even have someone check over a major release site update before going live with it. This kind of cost-cutting is something you'd expect from a Chinese car company - makes Scion look third-rate.

Minus fog lights, no mention of leather, heated, seats, the exhaust tips are still lacking the 86mm exits, I doubt they added a lot of other features (see the link in my sig for all of them). But they added craptacular illuminated badges, dash, and shift knob.... oh and forced a single colour that's actually not a colour but a shade of ugly grey. I hate Scion so much. Give me the damn Toyota without the Scion gimicks and Scion stripped out quality.

This almost pisses me off more than the initial offering of the FR-S.
Dude. We get it. Its not your Celica. Get over yourself. You'd be upset even if it was a Toyota.

It's not likely they'd go through that just for a limited-run version of a low-volume car. The first car we'll see them on is the special edition but I'd expect to see them on all FR-S's in a coming model year.

Or, they may have just used European headlights from a non-uk country.

I'm sorry I mean EDM lights, you're right.

But he is a vendor so he has connections. His has all the TRD goodies as well. Even the door lock metal piece thing lol

Yeah. It was Subaru asking about AWD in their satisfaction surveys that put me off the BRZ. Now that I bought an FR-S they go and pull THIS?! Looks like I'm going to have to sell it.</s>

Want. Don't care about the haters. Still, I don't think I could jump on this quite that early unless I get a bonus/early raise this year.

It proves my theory that the 86 headlights are modular and will work on a USDM FRS.

Nice I like!

But what I was referring to was for those folks that want a real JDM conversion, and that would include this:

^^ LOL .... well we all knew this was going to happen. every release series will have some options from JDM. I bet next year it will be fogs with alcantara.

only thing i want is those headlights!!!! rest i could care less about or else i would have gone with BRZ if interior options were that important. to each their own...but like rest those glowing emblems are little to gimmicky for even scion lol should have kept it simple and atleast changed those puny stock exhaust tips to JDM style instead

anyhow congrats to scion for making it 10 years ... and giving us FRS!! love the car regardless of badging.

I don't think they'll ever bring that stateside because of some BS about it being a burning hazard to pedestrians for protruding out too far. They'd have to redesign larger tips for the USDM.

Uh no, I'd actually be very happy if it was a Toyota. In case you haven't seen me around here, I've been one of the biggest supporters of getting the Toyota 86 GT Limited over here, feel free to check the link in my sig as proof.

I have not once complained that I wanted it to be a Celica, I have said the Celica name would fit but not once complained that it wasn't a Celica. Especially when I found out it was the spiritual successor to the AE86.

What I'm pissed off about is that Scion stripped the car of Toyota's quality, features and options. Now they are offering some of those features and options (about damn time too) but they are still leaving things out and adding shit that no one wants (illuminated badges, dash and shift knob, wtf?) as well as forcing less options (single colour). They claimed the fog lights would be available last august, where are they? Still waiting. Where are the leather/alcantara heated seats? I'd rather have those than the in your face glowy scion gimicks.
