it think it's because design wise, it kinda breaks a few rules -- the box surrounding the non-italicized font on the right side is supposed to be what's carrying on the angled/motion look. having too much of that angle carrying through makes it a little less clean...

I love the overall design. besides we cant just go rip off what the guys in Van did....

as i said im good with either the .com or with this updated/centred without the .com

lets just get it done for whatever the next meet is, or sooner so we can all show up with them on

I do think the "club.com OTTAWA" might be confusing to some, especially considering how ambiguous the "FT86" naming and logo could be to outsiders... the 86 logo is obvious to the enthusiasts, but considering all the cars here are called FR-S and BRZ, expecting people to connect the mysterious round logo to the rest of the text might be a stretch. plus, like some mentioned, is it clubottawa.com, club.com ottawa, etc...?

nowadays, it's reasonable to assume that most people curious about a subject/group/etc would use google to find what they're looking for -- a quick search of "ft 86 club ottawa" yields a first position search result of this exact thread on ft86club.com/forums

I hope with these things considered, the group might reconsider going for the simpler, cleaner .com-less logo, with the stretched out CLUB to fill it out nicer... I'm not trying to hijack the process, just hoping a bit of a different point of view can give everyone what they need to make their decisions!

Just over 7" wide. Will fit right into the third brake light area.

hey guys what's going on? haven't gotten one of these yet but I'm looking forward to going to pick one up down in the states next weekend if all works out. I have been away from the car world for a while now and am really excited to get back into it. I see that slick has posted about some MCO events for calabogie any chance you participate in the autocross also?
