That sucks, Joe. I was in the same boat around tax time. I got hit hard by the tax man and thought about selling my car. Even put it up on the forums. I've added about $2300 worth of extra mods to it and I'm a little strapped right now, but I think I'm done with mods for the foreseeable future. Going to tighten my belt for a few months.

I think that was the one downside with the FR-S. It was cheap to buy, but in order to bring the power levels up it cost an extra $2k whereas I could have spent that extra $2k on a GC coupe or something.

Wouldn't lower my payment enough to justify it just yet. I was too upside down when i bought the car, don't buy a Dodge anything the resale sucks.

I got hit harder than that. Almost had to pay $5k, but then added in all my expenses and got it down to about $2500. Ridiculous! My part time gig is fee for service, so now taxes were taken out.
