San Antonio Meet Thread

Reminder....SATX Coffee and Rides is Saturday, 3/30/13, 7AM to 10AM. This time located at the Gabriel's end of parking lot @ Blanco and 1604. (So far - Weather looks good for Sat. AM.)

Any interest in meeting up early and rolling in together so that we get a nice line up of 86 cars? I'd be in if someone wants to name a meet-up time (6:30-ish?) and nearby place. Let's get a list going!

I'll be there John. One of the TXIC guys is a manager of the Whataburger by La Cantera and 1604 and they usually meet there.

Yep. I saw that on TXICs facebook last month. LaCantera is a bit out of the way for me coming from the NE side. Given the early hour...I'm thinking the ultimate goal should be to show up at C&R at 6:45 AM sharp so we can claim real estate to obtain a good spot on the lot and put out some cones (I have 10) for whoever else is gonna be there within the next 45 minutes or so. By 8AM the lot begins to get pretty filled up so it's kinda uncool to be hogging spaces when people are already there trying to find a place to park.

If we do a roll-in together, there is a Whataburger right across from The Vineyard on Blanco. That would be a good spot to group at say around 6:30 if we want to gather in numbers first. I'm thinking I'll do that and grab a bite to eat as well.

Yeah, I realized that after I had posted it. The Whataburger on Blanco sounds good to me.

I'll show up at my usual time of around 8:30'ish. Unless it rains, I am probably going to bring my Miata this time around though - I haven't really driven it in about a month . Mind if I park it near the 86's?
