Kudos you 2.

Don't get me wrong their still a lil annoying, but you can't ignore the outcome.
Youre crackin me up man...btw, congrats!

Maybe when someone tries to fit up one of the long tube headers with this kit? Those seem to be turning the dip into a bump. Then again, extra torque in the midrange might have a negative effect on tire tread life.

This kit is looking better and better, thanks Gem!

I want to see this kit doing 280-300 whp and I'll be purchasing 100% for sure. Where exactly are you looking to end up Gem?

Just got the Vortech Supercahrger installed last week !
this is the 9psi with upgraded smaller pulley that is being sold now by vortech superchargers!!
VORTECH SUPERCHARGER ---V3 H67B COMPRESSOR WITH 3.48" DRIVE PULLEY @9PSI --- 294 Crank hp / 210 tq
here is my review regarding the new upgrade:
First off, this is what i was looking for in the frs. this car is well balanced but always wanted a little more power (a lot of people can relate to this here lol).
living in Cali, i wanted to have my upgrades street legal. So I came across Vortech superchargers. Their superchargers are carb approved (wiating on stamping) and the power gains were linear on the power band.
I personally wanted a supercharger over turbo charging since i also wanted to keep the balanced characteristic with no significant lag which happens on turbo cars. i wanted consistant power and supercharging really sealed the deal.
You can tell once you open the hood that the quality is great and it has that oem look.
The first day that i got the car back and drove it home from Vortech i was suprised by how much of a difference it made. below 3k rpm you already feel an increase in power over stock but once you pass 3k... youre in for a suprise. the power keeps climbing as you go over the rpms. i wasnt used to this yet and the back of my head actually pushed against the headrest. (something that i never felt driving the frs till that day).
as i let go of the gas around 6.5k RPM, i heard the CBV (compressor bypass valve) making that famous "WHOOOSH" sound. My friend and I looked at eachother with a smile. i really like that the power is always there throught the power band. This was what this car needed in my opinion.
Im really satisfied with what vortech has done for us fr-s owners. I hope everyone gets a chance to feel the difference. I take my fr-s to shows and events in SOCAL such as Autocon, Formula D car show, toyotafest and much more so when you see it ill be right next to it so ask questions anytime

Congrats! I can't wait to get the new compressor in, we are still trying to get RA numbers from Vortech to ship the old one back.
