So, I was going to do my lights just like Jeff and Jasper have theirs, but after seeing this: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12312 I really want to do this. However, I do am the best person for cosmetics. Something about cutting into my tailights seems scary lol. Anyone else know anyone who has done this? Im curious how they hold up after sealing them. If this is too much gamble I will stick to Jeffs method.

Ill be doing that next. I have now ordered my bi-xenon hid's and all my led's for my new light setup I'm doing.

The aftermarket rear lights are cool and cheap as well.

What lights are you talking about? Id be down to maybe purchase something like that, if it was done correctly. The link I posted was all done by cutting the plastic

Thanks!
This is pretty reliant on the quality, type, and application of resin used in the construction of the CF part. Yellowing can occur pretty rapidly here in the AZ sun particularly on inferior CF parts. The best way to protect your exterior CF parts that will be exposed to the AZ sun/heat is a good quality UV automotive clear coat coupled with a quality UV resin used during production (nothing in a spray can for paint by the way). I have clear coated several of my carbon parts on my other vehicles and have had very good results over the years here in AZ. You can then of course wax them in addition.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of response...I met up with Gem at Goodspeed and hung out for a bit, I didnt get a chance to drive his car since it was strapped to the dyno. I did however let Gem drive it and got some advice in some things I need to take care of. But I think his overall impression was that he liked it Hes gonna be back out here saturday so I think we're gonna meet up so I can drive his car.

Thanks for this feedback! I was considering the Zeta rear spoiler and more pwjdm bits. I'll ask them about their resin and clear coats.
