I had the same problem making up the front/over pipe connection, the bolt really needed to be about 1/8" longer. I ended up using the lock washers but not the flat washers. The bolts supplied are 1-1/2" long. With 2 1/2' flanges, gasket, flat washers, lock washers, and a little bit of gap, I couldn't get the nut started. I was able to use all hardware on the front pipe to mid pipe connection.

It wasn't the length of the bolts that is the problem. With 2 washers (no locking washers, one head side, one nut side) the nut had full engagement with 2 threads to spare. The first time it happened to me just 10 minutes into testing the exhaust out. I heard a pop, and under my car I found the bolt in 2 pieces with the nut still attached one. Thermal expansion broke the bolt in half. So far it has happened 3 times to me, most recently at a track day.

Sorry, I can't. I installed the system on Sunday and had to travel out of state to get it on a jack, so doing it again would be next to impossible at the moment. From what I remember, all the bolts looked to be a good size.

As I stated in my review, the system didn't line up as easily as some posters have said it does. I don't know if it was just the fact that we didn't install it using a lift and so that maybe have added to the difficulties, but yeah, the front pipe and over pipe fitment was not 100% flush until it was tightened.

By the way, if I have Jeff's stage 1 tune already, should I send some logs in and have him tweak if necessary or does the addition of the OP/FP not require it?
We have a map that we would like you to test out! Shoot Jeff an email and he will get that squared away with you.

I would like to send you both longer bolts to rectify any fitment issues! So if possible, shoot me a PM with your information and we will take care of you all!

It sounds like we may have received a bad batch of bolts! What I'd like to do for you is the same as the post above, send you new bolts that are also longer! If possible, just shoot me a PM with your information and I will get you taken care of!

I don't need new bolts, but thank you. I don't really want to crawl under the car unless I need to, and I'm thinking about making some monel K500 hardware anyway(massively overkill).
