That's the issue, in this shit hole I live in there are not any good body shops ( from experience) so I have to go to Pensacola. I'm hoping the actual dealer is best plus the lifetime warranty is good as well at any certified dealer

A BIG +1 on this. Because they're a Toyota shop has nothing to do with how good their work is. A suggestion I've made before is find a high end dealer (Ferrari, Rolls Royce, etc.) that doesn't have their own body shop and ask them who they have do their body work when it's needed, and there are times they need it. They will probably refer you to some small shop off the alley with a guy who is an artist when it comes to body work.

That sucks, I hope your shop gets it fixed up perfect and back to you soon! I'm afraid to take my car out of the garage sometimes lol. The problem is we live in a SUV world, if your car isn't big as a bus most people just don't notice or look for it I think.

Here is some advice for everyone on this forum.
One of the first mods should be a car cam like the Blackvue. It's a good investment to protect yourself and your car in the future. I plan on running one up front and one in back when I decide to purchase a BRZ. Check out these two videos. Guessing you filed a police report? Not that that would help get the footage from adjacent stores with the stores being unhelpful.
I hate how this has become something so common, complete lack of manners and regard for another person's belongings.

All you can hope for is whoever did it dies in a fiery ball of death.
![]() Similar shit happened to me back in 2004 when I had a brand new Mazda 3 hatchback (man that was fun to drive). Run into grocery store for 5 minutes and come out to find my drivers door caved in. I still hope to this day whoever did it is dead. Nothing I cannot tolerate more than inconsideration and blatant lack of responsibility. |

Sorry man, that sucks. People have no consideration for other's property.
What movie did you get? Hopefully it was something to help take your mind off of it. Caddyshack, Anchorman, Back Door Sluts 9? |

Sorry to hear about this hit and run. Had a similar incident at a movie theater when I parked next to a handicapped space. Willing to be the grandma who owned the buick next to me never stopped when she scraped down the side of my car with her bumper. At least, that's what I guess happened. Fortunately, the door wasn't dented and I was able, with a liberal use of touch-up paint and a polishing pad, to fix it. |
