Having even sport mode on or anythihng else on a nice dry day is like giving an olympic sprinter a 250lb weight to carry while he runs. Now I mention about driving experience because you can get into some problems with everything off but nothing will put a smile on your face like a long sideways drift with nothing but you keeping it under control. The VSC sport mode is good for wet days and some fun, but this car really starts to shine and show its massive capabilities when you can ride the slide and VSC mode really only lets you do like 20% of what its capable of.
Your totally right about turning all the driving nannies off, I didn't realize how intrusive they are. I've owned RWD before and this is my first car with electronic controls and they really seem to get in the way. Sure if its raining or snowing I'll use them for a back up. I'm used to actually driving so when the car slides a little bit I react accordingly but than the electronics take over which is...unsettling.

TL;DR
I turned the driving nannies off and I love the car even more

I still agree if you a noob to driving or driving RWD use the nannies and take it easy but you can't really learn the limits of the car with them on since they are so intrusive. I think thats why a lot of people have spun out/crashed because there used to driving with the controls then they turn them off and its night and day.

One last thought:
I think the Traction/VSC should be something you have to turn on, not something that has to be turned off every time.

Totally, it should remember your traction control choice, but I can see why they do it. Safety issue. Hey what day/time was the cart to cart thing again? I am traveling for business right now so checking this on my blackberry and its hard to scroll through.

Ryan took lots of pics.. he'll post later.

I was glad I went to his place.. The mad scientist is awesome! I would have been stuck on the rear suspension for a long time.. It's really hard to get the rear struts out.. you have to put a ton of weight on it to get the rear lower control arm down enough to pull the strut out.

It looks WAY better now.

What I wasn't expecting is how much I like the ride of the RCE yellows. My first reaction was that they felt bouncy.. but then I after more than just a ride around the block I realized they aren't bouncy.. they just seem like they have more travel and don't bottom out so easily. The old suspension would just slam into bumps.. now it can take the big bumps and remain composed. Big improvement!

so, i believe on Tuesday I am going to lose my car for 2 or 3 days...

Letting AutoLavish have at it for Opticoat, interior detail and exterior detail/correction.

I am 100% confident in their abilities and can not wait for it to come back.

but tomorrow, I am going to autozone and picking up the K&N filter
