I didn't make shitty connection's, to each there own. All the Mil spec harness we build for offroad use crimp just fine. Solder fails us all to often under the stress of desert racing.

I have my "old/first generation" supercharger all boxed up with my RA# ready to next day it first thing in the morning. Question though.... there is a tune availabe for this new setup correct? and if so, is there a more aggresive tune available from Perin with the new supercharger like before?

Both Perrin and Vortech have tunes for the new kit! Perrin has all sorts of goodies, I'm testing some of that goodness as we speak, and loving it

So, i assume your tune is pure speed density and maf is not used at all if your planning on running a gate on the pressure side correct? Or is the maf located after the bleed point?

Kudos to the company for keeping people happy, but if it wasn't for societies strange justification for thinking they are entitled to everything they want, FOR NOTHING, Vortech could probably be spending more time on making new products.

The sense of entitlement some people have blows. my. fucking. mind.

I feel this was worded a little harshly BUT I agree.

I recently watched the videos from Jay Leno's Garage on the Bugatti Veyron. Even knowing that the cars they were looking at cost 2.2 million and 3 million I was actually surprised and then surprised that I was surprised when the sales director for Bugatti in North and South America said that the when the customer sends the car in for service they automatically bring the cars up to the spec of the current units.

Its not a sense of entitlement, they sold a defective product. They origanally advertised close to 250whp with room to grow. They had to downgrade the number 240whp and some are having trouble getting that. They also said there would be room to add more power and there wasnt. If the product delivered what they claimed and they brought out another that would be different.

My comment was really just me saying that in this day an age that sort of treatment surprised me from Bugatti. The fact that Vortech is backing up their product in this manner is really positive.

It is very positive and very close to being the best solution, but fails a little short. Calum is on point in his previous post.
