from the looks of it, this dude just wanted to drive a car that goes fast and make him look cool in it. that's how a "playa" is. two things for you to learn OP, heel-toe and counter-steering. After learning those, turn off traction control. make sure you got life and medical insurance before doing so.

I had some doubts myself.. until I took it to the track . The car truly shines there. In the beginner groups, you see others struggling with their 3 series, WRX, STis, 350z... meanwhile the FR-S/BRZ owners are passing everyone and drifting through every corner

Of course once you move to intermediate groups that's no longer the case, but I think it tells how well our cars handle stock.

If you're regretting it because "it's not fast enough", you do not understand the true spirit of the car. I hear the same thing from people asking me about it and 99% of the time it's people who have never tracked a car/drifted in their life.

500 rwhp Mustang Cobra....no regrets. I do miss the power sometimes, but this car is so much more than a straight line

Only thing I regret is the straight line stability (say on the interstate at 75-80mph) is not quite as good as my old Golf TDi. Of course, that car was developed to go fast on the straight autobahn, so the stability was engineered into the steering. It wasn't nearly as much fun on curvy roads as the FR-S. All in all, great car!

The OP ended up getting a Camaro SS, a fat piece of shit with no interior visibility with its only saving grace being that V8 engine. People buy this car to look good while driving it, but I fail to see how that is possible when the windows are like the ports you see on battle tanks (so that you can barely see the driver), and the exterior is straight out of the worst franchise movie to be inflicted on us in a decade - Transformers.

Only time I feel any sense of regret is when I take off from stoplights, engine high revving to launch decently, only to get beaten by (Insert any car here) barely trying. Well, that and what my signature indicates.

Pinoy, ask yourself this. Do you want to be yet another Camaro in a sea of Camaros on the street or do you want the hottest sports car in the world . We all have the hottest car in the world, it will probably stay very popular for many years to come. Horsepower does not denote greatness. You can get an extra 11 rwhp out of the car with a top of the line exhaust and cold air intake or possibly try HKS and maybe get 20 more horses.
