Cool I know there's a bunch wondering. In particular, torque dip especially if theres no tune and still improvement. These will sell like crazy if that's the case... not to mention how nice it'll be to sound like a boxer

NOTE: The dyno chart below is NOT with the Borla UEL header, it's the Rev Works UEL with stock ecu tune and stock headerback! It's a similar design that uses slightly bigger inner diameter piping than the Borla. I'm posting it only for reference for what to expect out of the the Borla UEL header on a stock ecu tune and stock headerback! YMMV!

I don't see a bracket on mine at all, which is weird. I thought that's what the whole hold up was on shipment because they wanted to "improve" them. I hope to reuse the gaskets from the stock header.

The first batch of headers was already made without the bracket to make them stronger and Borla probably choosed to ship them anyhow.
That's the only reason I can see so far to explain that.

Well I installed Borla UEL header today. All I can say is WOW! The sound is top notch and I do notice increased low end torque throughout city driving. I did hop on a nearby interstate and do a few hard pulls. Fantastic sound! I did get a check engine light, P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold. I reset my computer with an OBDII scanner and have been driving it less spirited. So far no codes, I've put roughly 38 miles on it. Next up is a tune to fix the check engine light for good. I thought about trying some defoulers, but where the O2 sensors are under the car, they will be a pain to install. For now, I will reset my check engine light on an as needed basis until I get the tune.
