BRZ/FRS cop magnet

Don't know if it's just me being unlucky or if everyone's been feeling the same way, but since I've gotten my BRZ in February, I've gotten a total of 5 tickets all within the same month. Never had this problem before ever in the past

The only instances I have had with a cop was them parking next to me in a parking lot and talking to me and asking me questions for 20 mins. I think the problem could be a heavy foot haha.

Any mods like exhaust or tint that could bring more attention?

Was being pulled over twice a month when I owned my Z33.

I had similar experiences. A CHP officer pulled me over, took a step back, then started asking me questions about how I liked the car so far, and how it handled. Didn't end up with a ticket or anything.

Another time, while I was parking on the street, an Irvine cop pulled up next to me. I got nervous and asked "Am I not allowed to park here?" and he said "Ah, I don't care" and then he started asking me questions about the car too.

Haven't had any run ins with law men since then, but it's still pretty funny how interested they seem to be in the car... :-)

I think the only mod that's causing these problems is the nut behind the wheel

Not a problem yet (knock on wood). That's part of the reason I went with stealthy Whiteout instead of something like Firestorm. Or perhaps my luck is just due to the fact that the Minnesota HP officers don't really even know the car exists yet, and so they don't even actually see it.

Maybe it's time to invest in a radar detector? Or drive legally?? I've only been pulled over once in my FR-S, no ticket. My rule is, don't be the fastest car on the road. I can't afford a speeding ticket. I figure as long as I'm getting passed once in awhile, there's no reason to worry about getting pulled over.

11!!!!! I'm assuming the only place you can legally drive now is at the track?
