Blue eBay springs?
Does anybody know the deal with the tuning pros $130 blue eBay springs?
Please stay out of this thread with comments that they are ebay junk/cheap/poor unless you have real experience with them. I did notice the spring rates look suspect with lower # in the rear -- opposite of most other options. I am not looking to autox/track or anything else. Just looking for 1inch down I tried searching with no help. Thank you, |

Suspension is one of those things you don't want to cheap right out on. You can get eibach springs for not a ton more than this (pro kits are about $230), and you're getting way better quality.

Why risk it when for $100 or less more you can get a trusted name like H&R, Hotchkis, Tanabe or Tein.
Why take a chance on a company you have never heard of on a piece that if it breaks can kill you? |

They've got more R&D into the ad then they do in the springs.

also if you're cheaping out on something it's 99% of the time not because you think it's a good deal .. it's because you're impatient and want to get a modification done now instead of later when you've accumulated the $$$ to do it properly.
patience is a great virtue

Honestly, I know I sound crazy but I'm not terribly worried about performance or money. My previous car was a heavily modded old BMW that I had built a custom coil over setup with an engineer at Bilstein. I'm over spending lots of money. Sure I want nice springs, but if these do the job then why not?
