I have had ONE new tune file flash since-from Perrin, and as you know, Perrin and Vortech co-developed the tune I'm running now, and I am betting thats what the kit is based on; and yes it feels more powerful than the dyno I posted, and I havent dyno'd since, so I'm totally buying the 25OWHP mark as 'easily doable' for this kit.

I will go as far as saying pulling more out is obvious, if we are seeing this at 9psi, clearly the max spin makes 14psi, so pulling out a 13psi build is not unrealistic, at all!
I agree with everything you said. Shocking I know. LOL

All of our tuning with our complete systems is for 91 octane, and this is for many reasons. the main concern is safety, and seeing as how 91 octane is the lowest premium octane of fuel that is readily available everywhere, our tuning has to be safe for use with it. Also, that is the best we have at the pump here in California, apart from a few spots that pump E85 or 108...

The systems will certainly run on 93, but a custom tune made specifically for 93 octane will (of course) allow for more power.
Will you guys be releasing a 93 octane tune for it?

Brian, for the sake of clarity can you clarify if this are CRANK HP and TQ numbers? If so, can you please post the WHP and WTQ numbers?

Thanks.

Well to make 294 whp with 210wtq, he would need to be making 210wtq @ ~7400RPM ... So I THINK he means crank. The omission of the W would also indicate that.

94hp and 59tq is still really solid considering those numbers are on the stock exhaust and header. With a smaller pulley/engine back/93 octane tune im sure some magic will happen.

Are we sure it was a stock exhaust? Gem was the test car. He has a full exhaust.

Here's another stupid question (I'm just full of them today)

Given that alot of us might be DDing on this kit, would it be riskier if:

A) I had the 91 tune and ran 93 octane regularly?
or
B) I had the 93 tune and ran 91 octane regularly?

As we all know, a tank of gas that is of lower octane can be done, but is not reccomended long-term. Basically, what I am asking is if there could be extra damage done to the engine over time if we have a tune for 91 but run 93 on a regular basis, or vice versa.

It is never bad to run a higher octane than what the tune is made for. So run the 91 tune with 93 octane.

And this was with the original compressor correct? So there could be more potential when that is swapped out...
