I am in the same boat as far as trying to go. And I have thought about using a tent and using state or national parks...hmmm...

Wait I just realize it's vegas, so the track or the autoX there can you rent a car to drive a couple of laps? I know there's that exotic experience you can drive super cars around for 5 laps starting at like 99$ for a corvette or something like that

What are you guys looking into for food? Will there be food vendors, or like pre-reg tickets and BBQ, combination of the two depending on the location for each event? Even if not set in stone would help when tryingto figure out budgets still

I heard that food wasn't very expensive in Vegas, I don't know if this is true, but I do Remember visiting a long time ago and I was able to get alot for just 10$surely times have change.

And Im totally thinking about the exotic racing car thing, I mean 200$ to take a cayman R around a track with professional instruction isn't that bad at all.

Not yet, My father who travels alot recommends booking at about April, He seems to know his stuff so I'm gonna trust him, And wait alittle maybe he'll let me use his mileage. I was looking into it and it came out to about 580$ for me with Hotel and stuff, of course I'm planning to share it with some friends on the forums here, so it will prolly cost me less int he long run, also my return flight is from LAX and not LV so I might cost a bit more than others. How are you? from JFK? NY right?

Yup, from NY. There's a few airports in the NYC area along with JFK, such as LaGuardia (LGA) and Newark in NJ. (EWR) There's also a closer one in White Plains (HPO) that I've flown out of a few times as well as Albany (ALB).

Last I checked, roundtrip flights from NYC to Vegas are around $430 for me. Would I be able to join in on your room? PM me!
