Sorry if I missed this but can the downpipe bolt up to the rest of the stock exhaust? I've only seen pics of aftermarket systems. I know it holds back power but it also holds back attention, which is key for me.

![]() Here is a review: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1386512 I am even more pleased with the results. While I did not have a dB meter handy, I can say that raspiness was eliminated and overall interior volume seemed to be cut by about 40%. When paired with a 3" WBR axleback, my STi is now almost as quiet as stock. And another: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-1141-Ultra-Quiet-Resonator/dp/B000E3VHWI"]Vibrant 1141 2.5" Ultra Quiet Resonator : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame] This resonator is everything I wanted. I had a 2.5" Downpipe connected to a 2.5" cat-back system and boy did it DRONE BAD! as early as 3000 RPMs! It drove me INSANE (this is with the windows UP!) I found this, bought it, had a section of straight pipe between the cat and catback cut off and this fit in there pefectly (but i knew this before i ordered it) Now i would say, even with my full turboback system, it is just as quiet as stock! this is what i wanted, a stealth exhaust system As for quality, it is amazing, you wont find a single weld you dont like. Plus the design is straight though, i did not "feel" any power loss due to any "backpressure" doubt there was much backpressure added... |

Yes it will bolt up to the OEM overpipe.

Love the kit! Top of my list right now. Only thing I am concerned about is passing E-Test. Anyone encountered this yet?

Really? That's a little upsetting... Although I don't plan on running more than 20psi just thought it wouldn't be at its limit?.... Maby see how long she goes then might have to stage 2 or maby 3 it lol

20psi on e85 put down 430whp and 350tq on a automatic, considering thats without opening the motor and just the turbo kit thats nuts. Especially in a 2700 pound car, you will most likely be pretty happy with it.

Yeah I was definatly impressed with those numbers but I wasn't sure if that had a full 3" exhaust or not and that was on an auto, my impatientness and curiosity was just getting the better of me that's all lol ill be sure to do this on my car and post numbers would just like a benchmark so I could compare

What kind of results would us 91 octane guys see with this kit on higher boost levels??? I want to know if 400rwhp is possible on 91 octane without too many mods internally

I'm no expert but 400whp is prolly a little out of reach with 91 octane without meth injection, on this engine at least.

@FullBlown...this might be going back a ways... just clarifying, the dyno #'s on your stage 1 (273whp/209tq) was w/ stock exhaust 7ish psi and 91 octane correct?
