Auto is much easier for autoX. Takes too much time to shift up and down as everything is either 1st or 2nd. I'll stick with my manual anyway though.

I've never autoX in an auto before. So I was kinda curious on how the well the paddles worked w/ turning the wheel like a mad man.

Autox easier in an AT? I beg to differ. This run had a section that full out second followed by a harpin causing a drop to 1st. In a MT you could get set up to pop into first and accelerate out of the apex, in a AT you have to wait for the motor to let you downshift, which may be before the apex or after in which ruins the run, I tackled this all day. Or the skid pad, in which I was 1st gear, an AT doesnt let you bounce redline, it just kills the motor..so I had to quickly get into second coming out of the skidpad to aviod the nose dive.

I am pretty confident I would run the same exact time if not a little faster in a MT because of that final turn.

You dont need lighting quick powershifts in Autox, smooth is king.

As for shifting while turing, its pretty easy unless you are in a 180 turn and forget which is up shift and down shift...then you just click the paddles a bunch and see what happens, lol
