Yeah you can get stock colors for $70 but I'm willing to pay for custom because I can't find a color I like. They don't make the ones I have right now anymore.

What colors did you get?

After searching for nearly a year and running my savings down to my last crumbs of $200, i got a new full-time job. Not only that, but i kept my Discount Tire job to work on Saturdays. I went from one really subpar part-time job and slow crippling debt, to two jobs and a bit of hope after approaching the brink.

Now i just have to focus on doing well at the new job. There is so much to learn, but i'm just happy to have a full-time job again since November of 2011.

Congrats!

That is a long time to only be part-time.

Thank you.

Yeah, if i weren't so frugal and hadn't saved up during the busy months, i would have been so f*cked. Also, paying off my car helped a lot.

@Calum @OrbitalEllipses

Sooo... $550 for $40 worth of rod ends two 1.125" dia bars of 6013 aluminium with 30 minutes of total machining, plus two stepped, tapered and threaded stainless ball-joint substitutes (~30 minutes each, manual), anodizing is minimal too. While I appreciate their apparent attention to detail are they worth $550?

Depends on perception of quality, actual quality, and customer support in the long term. Will they be around long? Probably not. Not a product I'm interested for street use anyway.

What colors did you get?
Yea, I remember when I bought my first pair of speed cats, they had over a dozen different color combinations. Now it's not even half that.

You can get a full 360 view here.

I'm in the process of looking for a new job, and it sucks! I hate job interviews, and reading qualifications for jobs even more... Very frustrating, but grats on your new job!

That's going to be tough, they've gotta really be losing their shirt on it to get rid of it for under dealer invoice >_<. (and you'll need speech 100 to pass that persuasion check)

Not really. There's holdbacks and other funds they get that allow them to sell it at that price.
