I told her I have goals I gotta meet so the cut off date for saving for her car is the end of the summer. I wish we could lease but she has 0 credit, and wouldn't be able to handle the monthly payments anyway. Best to get her something reliable she can drive for years until in the future I'll have a better paying job and can get her a newer car -we're talking around 2030 here haha-
I'm not too concerned about getting my car, her car, maybe some cute stuff for my car nothing wild. shark fin antenna, new radio, I really want this ^_^

This got me thinking. Not about the ST, but plenty of guys are getting FRS/BRZ as first time buyers. There has to be a way to get a frieking Ford that's $$$$ cheaper. So I contacted my local Ford dealer to see if I could get financing through them. I'm waiting on a call back.

Its gonna be split 60:40 -my mom has a 05 Ford Explorer (she needs to get back from my father) that we're going to trade in. Hopefully she gets 3k for it.

I was close to making a deal with one of the salesman last year. He must have been new at the dealership cause he was literally shaking from his fingers to his feet. Whatever he try to say to me about about the BRZ I had an answer for it. I got the numbers I was looking for and was ready to sign away on a LR. Then his boss got the word and quickly changed what I had brought to the table.

I was like in my head "fuck that, I'm outta here." So I did just that and walked away. Told them, "I can't do that deal" and told the salesman, "your lucky your boss saved you." Had it not been for that I would be driving an LR BRZ now. Oh well.

It sucks that you could've been driving the car now. Wish I could've helped.

Edit: I have been trying to get it under dealer invoice... little bit tougher to do but I feel like it'll be possible.

Wow, perfect timing!

I was just about to buy a new pair of speed cats. My current white/red ones are more like black/white/red...they are so dirty.

Edit: With shipping it comes out to $112.xx. Not bad for custom kicks! They said they should arrive within 4 weeks.

Yeah GM's and I don't usually see eye to eye.
Now I'm curious what would you do differently when negotiating with the GM?
Its not like I'm looking for free oil changes, filter changes, or longer warranties on tires or whatever. I'm just trying to get the car at or below invoice where. Been hearing people getting invoice around where I'm at, not dealer invoice though.
