This is my opinion and my only opinion only based on the product I recieved. This is only my review.
If you just going to let it sit in the corner of your basement why not ship it to me so i can make use of it !! i'l pay for shipping

yea they state on their site that it's your responsibility to inspect everything before signing for the package. This is almost guaranteed to work in their favor. no one is going to rip open the box and inspect the entire thing and keep the UPS guy standing there forever. I would never order anything from them simply because of that.

Wow. Why would they even be a vendor here if they have such shitty customer service? I'm glad every company I order from supports their products even AFTER I receive them. This isn't the first time I've heard bad things about them.

It's weird when I see threads or posts about Seibon not being a good company (i.e. bad products, bad customer service, etc.).

I purchased a DVII-STYLE CARBON FIBER HOOD FOR 1993-1998 TOYOTA SUPRA last year. I saw the product on their website first and called to inquire about it.

http://seiboncarbon.com/store/dvii-s...ota-supra.html

They were very helpful over the phone in answering all my questions about hood pins, coating, how to take care of the hood, install and price. I ordered the hood in advance before installing it.

I am probably lucky because I live in CA and was able to visit their shop directly. I paid in person and also scheduled an appointment to get it installed. Install was free, I only had to pay for the hood and hood pins. They also installed the hood pins for me too. They were even kindly enough to wrap the old stock hood so it wouldn't get damaged when we drive it back home (we used a separate car to drive the stock hood home).

Everything about them was professional and courteous. I like Seibon hoods and try to buy direct from them. Did you buy your hood direct from Seibon or through another shop (one of their distributors)? They should issue you a refund or something. I will look up my paperwork and get the guys name I dealt with. He was very helpful.

Because I had such great service and product, I plan on getting a hood for my FR-S through them. I also plan on buying from the same guy who helped me.

Maybe they aren't very good when it comes to shipping to other states. If you can get it direct, I'd say just visit their shop and buy in person.

I just got done polishing and buffing the hood. It turned out good. I just don't feel like I had to do it if its a new product. They need better Q.C.

Whats done is done . I'm happy now.

I completely understand Miko. If you buy something new, you want it to be new (meaning, not having to buff or polish it). I would think it would have been polished and buffed before it shipped.

I love the hood and I will probably buy the same one from Seibon.

Hi Chenshuo,

Sad to say, the supra isn't mine. I've always loved the toyota supras and have a lot of friends in the supra community, but have never owned one myself. I only bought the hood for this supra.

Thanks.

My friend is sponsored by them on his FR-S and he called to ask about his clear fading already. They said they don't clear coat it to protect it from UV its just a gel clearcoating and offers no protection. That's bs if you ask me.
