I saw the dyno...they definately had issues with the tune/ecu. The hardware is VERY nice and OEM'ish. Really nice guys too...My car will never have a supercharger on it but if i had to this would be the kit i would go with.

they could have had a bad ecu or some bad connections.. any number of things could have gone wrong not related to the tuning side of things.

This was a test mule vehicle i assume so it is possible the ecu was disconnected a time or two.. could have lead to a bad connection in the harness etc. and off the top of my head... boost leak, bad sensor, chaffed wire harness, intermittent ground connection and so on.

I'm sure we will get the story by the time the magazine issue comes out.

Yeah what little bit I talked to them they seemed really cool to bad their car wasn't running I think they blew up the throttle body or something like that but they never started it that I saw. Hope it's nothing big.

Yeah, not really sure what happened, haven't received a data log just yet - but from the phone call I got the ecu was in some type of limp mode.

So it will be another 6 months before it sees a dyno again? That sucks, not saying that it's common but it seems like quite a few people were having issues with their tunes. Not a situation I want to be in as a customer.

Not holding you to those times.
Crawford should whip that ET with their powerband.

The thing with Crawford's setup is that its not setup for drag racing, its setup solely for road racing. Torque climbs stupidly fast then drop offs at the end. So while I agree it should be better than 13, I don't expect it to be at the low 11's we've seen from other cars.

Just a side note, not disagreeing with your post :happy0180:
