Anybody know how I can USB tether internet to the head unit and any good equalizers to replace the stock setup? My bespoke HU sounded better quality wise which is disappointing since I was sure this HU would be better... also curious how to connect my phone via bluetooth and stream audio thru the car speakers...

i just downloaded an equalizer app and it works very well when i use it with winamp and other things, but i think the ipod internal EQ overrides the one i downloaded

I used power amp. The EQ definitely wakes up the head unit when adjusted correctly for the speakers. It sounds a bit better than my stock head unit which needed to be turned up to 75% just to hear it on the highway.

You pair the phone via bluetooth, then use the oem bluetooth app to control....

Are any of you getting much poorer audio quality than the stock head unit?

I'm noticing that, no matter what EQ settings, there seems to be a flatness to the audio. What more, when I'm streaming music off of bluetooth from my phone, the audio starts off at a higher pitch than normal and slowly returns to the correct pitch, all the while in a fairly low quality.

I'm not sure if this unit was a one-off in terms of quality or if it's like this in general. Anyone?
