Still, gotta go where it is. I'm a long hauler at heart so I could do it in less than two days solo. I am thinking about it, but I'd only go if I drove.

I agree with what is said above, driving to a Car Event is like trailering your motorcycle to Bike Week in Daytona. It just does not compute....
Yeah, wish there were somewhere in middle that work for everyone...

Maybe I should add "Drove the Long Distance" contest

I would be up for a drive from east to west just not in a BRZ or a FRS, not because I don't want to , it's just so many miles to put on it I dunno I do it if had the chance.

Dang this sounds awesome. I could almost build up the courage to drive that distance, but I'm gonna be driving up to Montreal for the Grand Prix the weekend before... About half as far but, good lord would I probably be dead by the end of those two weeks

Maybe so. Don't forget to factor in age somehow though. When I was 20 I would have done this on a long weekend! Not so much any more.

Don't count me out though, I am still trying to convince myself NOT to commit to doing it!

The plot thickens

Ottawa (Canada) checking in. This is a great idea. My wife and I go to Vegas once a year. She does not understand my new addiction that we all seem to share. She does however understand outlet malls and shopping for which Vegas has in abundance. I am going to try to convince her that mid June is the perfect time to go to Vegas. She can shop and I can go to this meet. Yes folks it's all in the strategy. WWWAAAAhhhhaaaahhaaaa!!!!!

the car industry is weird... just like geo's were re-badged Toyota's but were an "american" brand... and made to compete with "imports" lol

Subiefest is held in Southern California. But the same organizer also holds a PNW version in Washington, and the Wicked Big Meet near Boston.

I foresee something similar happening to the FR-S/BRZ as time goes by.
