Nothing published yet. They are using the shootout to sell magazines.

This was on crawfords site

Headed home from the Modified Mag Shootout in Arizona. Our car performed well in all the events and even went down the drag strip with a decent time. Time for a few more cooling upgrades... the desert weather kicked our butts in the middle of the day which took first place out of our reach, still got a top three finish in the rear wheel drive class though.

Crawford Performance Today and tomorrow is the Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout. Day 1 was the dyno competition, and tomorrow is Autocross, Time-Attack, than Drag. We are running E85, and the tune is done by Mr. Crawford himself. Can't give out all the results.. As you can read about it in the ModMag issue coming out within the next few months! More pics to come, though.

That looks like JDL's results. Everyone was waiting to see the results from JDL, Crawford and especially the mythical Innovate PD blower. I didn't read the forums for a few days and suddenly the Innovate thread was locked. What's up with that?

Edit: From Crawford's FB post: "BRZ coming off the dyno after laying down 412hp / 453tq [@wheels]."

Innovate thread was locked because idiots who didn't take the hint when their waste of bandwidth nuisance posts were deleted kept on nuisance posting. Rather than issuing bans and making this forum a better place, management felt it better to lock the thread.

How do you know it was because of that? You asked a moderator and that was the explanation?

No direct feedback. Over the course of a day the thread was heavily pruned, one of the offending posters nuisance posted again, their posting was pruned again, and thread was closed. The timing seemed to give away the intent, but I suppose it could have just been a happy coincidence.

Yeah, I don't know either the exact reason, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone (vendors) requested it to be closed, not necessarily because of what was going on.

Watching the shootout was pretty entertaining. Seeing the innovate setup in person was nice too. I assure you its real. The crawford setup is nice as well. I respect vendors privacy so I won't go into detail and I really dont have any to begin with. All the cars performed well on the track (road course) and autoX. Can't wait to see all the details in the magazine myself. There was a drift event on the other track at the same time so I was distracted over there for a few hours too.

Some of the drag results are posted on the az thread. A few of the locals went. Technical issues were the theme of the day. Dyno day didn't work out well either from what I hear. Wished I could have gone.

Yeah it wasn't all that impressive at the drag strip but the innovate car was having tuning issues. Innovate I think got into the 14s by the end of it but was in the 15s and 16s for most of their runs. The Crawford was staying right around 13 from what I was seeing. The timer was having issues displaying the times. One side wasn't working at all and the other was finicky at best so don't hold me to these times.

Must have been some bad issues, the car can get in the 14.s stock with a good driver.

Agreed. Not very confidence inspiring. I guess I'll swallow the bait and buy the magazine. I am looking for independent, objective data upon which to make a $6K-$8K decision on a $25K car. Maybe I need a psychiatrist...
