Another Iowan. Congrats.

Hi, my name is Andrew, located in the great state of Iowa. Purchasing this car has been a long process, longer than what I was expecting.
After 7 months of rebuilding my credit, mine disappeared after 2 years of no activity, and flipping my car into a ditch during a snow storm, I felt like it was time to move on. I traded in a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LT, for my WRB LT AT BRZ exactly one week ago. I have had 7 days of blissful driving, and here is to many, many more.

He's been driving my BRZ to high school but he might start taking the rx7.
Got a pic?

Hi All,
Just picked up my GBS BRZ Limited MT this week.
So far.... LOVE IT. Entirely different from my STi in terms of driving dynamics. Its a perfect DD in my mind. Looking forward to many more years of fun with this car.

hey everyone! just joined this forum as of last night.

currently using a 2001 honda prelude, but i'll be selling it soon.

i had my eye on a WRX, but i ended up placing a deposit for a WRB 6MT premium with heuberger motors yesterday!

just got back from test driving an FR-S at my local Scion dealership, and loved the car! super excited to have a BRZ hopefully by the end of the month.

Hey all. Just put a deposit on a WR blue 6mt limited. I'll be driving 350 miles this Saturday to pick it up and bring back to NC. It's going to be a long week. In a couple months I'll be bringing it to San Diego for good. I am defiantly going to be making a stop at the dragons tail on the way!

I'm coming from a 07 6mt Infiniti g35. Looking forward to shedding the extra weight and other stuff I don't need. First new car. I'll be posting pics when i get it

Hey all. Just picked up my BRZ Friday, March 15th. Ordered it on the 19th of February and got a 5-6 month estimate on delivery. Dealership called on my brithday (03/07) and told me that for some odd reason my car was going to show up the next week. It rolled into town on 03/13-- less than a month from putting the $500 deposit down!!!

It looks great in the Oregon spring and I can't wait to see it through the rest of the year!

The car is a Crystal Black Silica Limited with a 6MT -no accessories. I upgraded from a stock 2000 Civic AT that had 186k on it. I spung for the 7yr comprehensive factory warranty and a 72mo lease.

The BRZ handles like a dream and I feel it has a wonderful power/weight balance. I haven't been able to get a good read on the brake balance but shifting the weight with them seems very smooth. Deciding between drift and grip is so hard! The tail has only skipped a bit on a couple hard corners while I was power-overing so it seems like the traction control is really on top of things. I can't wait to get my chops and turn off the VSC and traction control in a wide open area to see just how easy the tyres come loose.

I look forward to spending some good time on the forum discussing this awesome thing we all have in common: The Driver's Car!!!

Cheers,
Nate
