You, on the other hand, seem to be 'trolling' the forum for people to push your parts on, with what one could consider a vague undertone of discrediting other vendors...

The attitude of the WORKS distributor (not sure if 86_ZN6 is an actual WORKS employee, but he gives that vibe. If he's not, I'd hope WORKS would step in themselves) is reason enough to avoid their products. My stock exhaust was set up with a "corrosion resistant aluminum oxide coating" an it's completely covered in surface rust. This is the same type of marketing BS that dealerships use to sell you "rust-proofing" on new cars. And a reason it's a running gag in pop culture.
Just my opinion, though. I fully admit to being a "Nameless fanboy" because they've goddamn EARNED it. I'm also a Grimmspeed fanboy, a Kartboy fanboy, Cobb fanboy, AST fanboy... I could go on. Respecting a company for providing a quality part doesn't invalidate your opinion. Welcome to life. |

When you factor in the loss of power over the stock filter that made the torque dip even worse, the Works filter generated a net loss.

I'm kinda curious...The nameless seems to have more bends than the works...Does that mean the works would produce better gains when adding new exhaust parts? I'm not a expert by any means but if 90% of airflow is leaving one side on works...it seems like it act like a longer version of a track pipe?

My best suggestion: Get something made from SS.

Just FYI because pics are fun. This is after an entire Chicagoland winter, salt and all.

In fact, from someone who is running a business alone one would expect the exact opposite. |
