I am subscribing to get updates on the upgraded version. Even the system out now would be more then enough, but upgrading the speakers would be even better.

My system arrived but apparently it doesn't come with the silicone sealant. just a headsup for those ordering you might need to buy it separately at your local autostore or amazon.

Got mine yesterday. Install took 2.5-3 hours, the video made it really easy. I'd definitely recommend getting some plastic panel removal tools though. Not sure how I ever functioned without them in the past.

Sounds great! I'll be at the next Richmond, VA C&C if anyone wants to check it out in person.*

*Depending on which pod of the NCAA tourney VCU gets sent to. If it's within driving distance, I'll have to skip C&C.

Got bored and installed mine today. took 2.5 hours with two people taking our time.

The sound is ridiculously amazing compared to stock. As long as you set it to the right mode it sounds beastly. Deadening the trunk at least is a minimum as the woofer will cause the license plate to vibrate and make noise outside if you do not lol.

personally i feel like this might be the best mod I've done. or maybe a close second to an armrest.

I applied some damplifier pro to the following areas:

-Spare tire well
-Trunk floor
-the empty spaces in the trunk lid
-The area on the floor between the trunk and back seats (underneath where the foam is attached to the seatback carpet)
-Quarter panels

The last two seemed to make the biggest difference. Exhaust even sounds more quiet in cabin now. I only ended up using 3 sheets worth, but even with just that, there is a huge improvement. Doors are next.

What is the "right mode" you speak of? And do stereo places do sound deadening for you?

I bought deadening from sounddeadeningshowdown.com, I will be doing a DIY next week as I install it. I'm sure you could pay a local car audio shop to do it for it's really not that hard (except maybe the door but theres a great guide on forums).

The system has instructions for what mode to put it in for each speaker. I don't know about the others off the top of my head but for the BeSpoke system you must set it to "natural" (as opposed to Feel or whatever) and "tC" mode. It makes a world of difference.

side note: if you don't have a heat gun for the install a small blowtorch works fine

Thank you! I didn't know about setting it to tC mode. Mine has been on FRS and sounded a little weak. The system came alive when I changed it

Got my order for my BRZ in today only to be saddened by what I found from the shipping guy. Apparently the shipping guys abuse the boxes in ways I cannot tell from the outside.

After finding some "loose parts" I sent a picture to OEM Audio Plus and was surprised by a quick reply they would be shipping me a replacement part.

Being the handy guy that I am - I was already planning to use some magic JB Weld to fix my problems but am quite impressed with how they responded without any question.

I am glad to see they stand behind their product and treat their customers well. Service after the sale is very good so that is a win in my book.

Update: They are shipping me a whole new setup and I am shipping the original box back to them (note the box had ALOT of foam and padding inside and sadly FEDEX figured a way to shake it to pieces. I hope the next shipping guy doesn't hate me or something).

Depending on how much deadening you are planning to do don't try to do everything in one day. I made the mistake of thinking I could do my door and trunk deadening in one day and ended up rushing and being sloppy and having to redo certain parts. The OEM audio plus system shouldn't take longer than 3-3.5 hours though (don't ignore any steps in the video including the lubricate wire to feedthrough to the engine bay part lol..
