Hey guys, it's actually someone else's white FRS. Mine stays parked at home most of the time, as I bike to school.

About the mini-meet idea, how would you guys like to roll to Adam's together this Tuesday? Even if not to drive the track I think it would be cool to check it out! I'm out of class at 6:30pm. We could probably meet up around 7pm at Carl's Jr. or subway on the food for less plaza (big parking lot).

By the way, who woke up this morning to find frozen rain drops on their car? I'm waiting for mine to melt lol

So I tried the track out last night. It's fun, local and relatively inexpensive. It was second gear all the way with about 1 second of third in the straightway. I suppose one could downshift to first on some turns as-well. As a noob I managed to bounce of the red line a couple of times, and shift into first at too high of a speed (probably about 40 mph) =(. Other then that and a couple of spin outs when it started to rain, I did ok. One thing I noticed is a lot of under-steer. I may have been attacking the corners with too much speed. I'll be working on it next time. And no more getting into the redline. I felt like an idiot almost blowing up my new engine.

As long as you had fun and you're enjoying the car in the way it was built, that's all that really matters... I'd just rather save every oz of reliability the car has for the bigger tracks.. I mean if you're going to be redlining I'm just saying I'd rather redline at 100mph at willow rather than 20-40mph at adams >_< you should try their drift events on thursday though.. Driftings a bit better on the track simply because it is such a lose speed track.. Our 2nd gear is tall enough too to get through the second corner w/ transition nicely... I think the bottom line is for $20 bucks, Adams can definitely quell that itch for driving maniacal.

You make a good point. I think after a couple more practice runs at adam's I'll try to make it over to willow. Hopefully some time in March. Drift session sounds fun, although with yesterday's rain, it was a drift session all in itself lol.

I try to avoid competition nights, as they are usually more packed then regular nights. If I was to attend one, it would be the Subie vs Mitsubishi .... Adam said we would count as a Subaru since there are no Toyota nights.

I won't be able to make tonight due to class but I hope you guys can come out next tuesday

one hour for 20 dollars, plus 5 dollars for entering and 5 dollars if you want a helmet, spent 30 but i mean not expensive compared to willow...then again you cant expect this track to be nearly the same as at willow either
