If those wheels are less than 20lbs each i'm definitely buying them. I hope that TRD intake goes on sale here soon for under $300.

That car would make a nice DD+weekend warrior except for the headlight decals and lack of turn signals.

Is there any word yet as to whether the celeb race will be televised nationally and what media outlet will carry it? This might be the first year in a long time where it is actually worth watching.

For some reason, I really like those black inserts covering the small intakes where the foglamps would be....

The celebrity race cars look like they should be in a Tomy AFX "86 Challenge" four lane set.

ken's IQ looks pretty rad I must say. it I lived in a densely populated city that only saw sun year round. I'd consider getting one, maybe in forest green.

TRD don't make a lot of their aftermarket parts. They just get the supplier to stick the TRD logo on it and double the price!

Oil Cooler?

Great read!

Is there info on these celeb racecars using oil coolers. From the pictures of the engine bay it doesn't appear so. I know there is mention of 0w-20 oil. I assume the oil gets changed after every race. That may be the reason they didn't bother with an oil cooler?

Thanks OP for the thread. The cars are very interesting with a nod to a well rounded club sport style setup.
