Does anyone know how to get an external mic working through the AUX? I want it to pick up sound and play it through my speakers? Any way to do this?

No clue how to do it easily off the top of my head, but I'm interested in hearing what your intended use is?

Just do what Toyota/Subaru did, cut a hole where you want the sound to go, run a tube from there.

Aww. Intersting. You should be able to use any powered mic that fits a 3.5mm jack maybe with an adapter.

Will it automatically playback through the speakers? I tried it with some iphone head buds (that have a mic) and it didn't playback through the speakers. =(

I think it needs to be powered as the aux us not amplified. I think.

Plus the aux may not be pinned the same as iphone headset.
