My FR-S name is the Ultra Modern due to the color Ultramarine and my name Modern

Yes, I've named her Safara. African in origin, it means "fire".

This all seemed logical, as she is a Raven FRS....and after all the mods are complete, she'll be still be black - but spitting fire !

Historically, we have never really indulged in naming our cars, not even the well-loved '88 Fiero GTs that we drove for almost 25 years, agonizing over the lack of a suitable, affordable updated replacement (200+HP, <3000 Lbs, RWD, >25 MPG comp, not a ragtop, comfortable for 6'3" driver, fun to drive on curving mountain roads). Similarly, but on a much, much happier note, we never really intended to name our FR-S; however, it just seemed somehow appropriate when we began thinking and talking about it as 'Frisky'. The name just fits, not taking itself too seriously with its 'modest' power source, but properly acknowledging its playful nature on our local switchbacks.

Interestingly, perhaps and AFAIK, virtually no variations of FRISKY or BREEZY - within our seven digit limit and within the bounds of a modicum of intellectual and aesthetic dignity - are currently available in California. But we like the vanity plates we ordered anyway...
