New update: Last night I drove up to Micro Image in Canoga Park, CA, to pick up some parts! Got the Apex'i drop in filter, Invidia N1 Catback(TI Tips), and the Berk Catted Front Pipe. Went to a friend's shop and installed around 2am.

Reasoning for post is that I will be heading back down to HG Motorsports to put down numbers with the new bolt ons, and retuning to adjust for them!

MOAR GRAPHS to come!

I don't get this really. That baseline is making far less Hp than normal. After breakin these cars are making upper 140 whp.... Some one tell me if I'm wrong.

The Dyno used to run those tests is even more strict than the Mustang Dyno, or at least that's what I understood from his OP.

This has been cleared up in previous posts, no need to bring it back up Let's just leave it there and await the next results with the new parts Should feel great once it's all done Zach!

Had to reschedule the tuning session for next week. However with the map I'm on right now, it seems to actually be working extremely well with the apex'i filter, berk catted front pipe and invidia catback. I mean, she pulls much harder from what I can tell.

Sometime in the next week or two is most likely when she will be getting baselined with the tune and bolt-ons to see where she is at, and then will most likely be adding a map for E85.

Will let you all know how it turns out!

As of now, she pulls hard and I LOVE IT!

long day cliff notes
Here are the mods
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...light=robispec
Car had 91, 100, and E-85 tunes done by Luiggi owner of Olympic Motorsports in south FL.
Overall Happy with the tune and the power made
The car had the highest NA Dyno numbers at the Evasive Dyno Day with:
WHP 179, Tq 145. on the E-85 tune
What suprized me was how close Whataboutbobs STOCK ECU tune(intake catback and 100 octane fuel) car was only down 3 WHP and 5 ftlbs TQ.
I kbew that Luiggi had run out of time and from memory my car's
STOCK BASELINE at a local DynoJet was 165/125
We added a custome exhaust and CAI and LOST POWER without tuning to 157/121
6 hours later FROM MEMORY Will upday with graphs on the build thread
91 tune was 175/128
100 octane was 179/131
E-85 was 187/147

So things I din't like car on cold mornings refused to start with e-85 (usually had to prime with gas)
Cruise control used for switching maps (but only ever had two usable maps so not really needed)
I have known the owners of HG Motorsports for a decade and saw that a VERY respected tuner was now the tuner working with them. I have known liked and enjoyed shooting the racing stories with Bill for almost as long...and have wanted a tune from him on my subie's but were never able to "git 'er done".
Some one was asking if there was a ECUtech tuner in San Diego South orange county and I said that HGM/Bill was the guy to go to...

Well after today I am very happy.

Started with the baseline to set the standard I was running with on the 91 map
(cant do the e-85 as the tune needed to be removed before any other work was done)
Baseline was
156/122 (WAY lower than either the DynoJet or evesives Mustang)
Final for the 91 tune was
159/132 BUT the TQ between 4K and 5K improved almost 10 ftlbs
E-85 final was
168/142 and improved on the 4k-5k tq #'s another 8 ftlbs

So I took a tuned car with a stock airbox a drop in filter and the Borla ELH full catless exhaust and Bill/Delicious Tuning/ HG Motorsports "found" power, smoothed out the delivery and the throttle response is direct and linear.
Going on the Dynojet tomorrow to see what the improvements are on the "home dyno"

Overall VERY PLEASED with the results AND I HAVE MY CRUISE CONTROL BACK!

When Bill texted me last night saying he had a new E85 map for me, yours must be what he was referring to. ;D

This goes along with the Dyno Dynamics at HG being the queen of heartbreakers; I will be extremely interested to see the numbers you put down on a Dynojet. Keep us updated!

No working all day. BUT...193whp 154 ftlbs torque on my local dynojet!
and 15 "extra" ftlbs below 5K for those corners where one gear is too low and the next gear is dipping into the 4K reve range.

That's on E85, correct? Mind sharing what bolt-ons you've got? Like which model exhaust and intake?

Build log is pretty comprehensive.
But I have gone back to the stock airbox with a K&N drop in filter
and I have the Borla ELH and their full catless exhaust.
for the E-85 I have a Deatchworks 65 pump and the tune...
THATS ALL FOLKS!

I went with the Apex'i drop in filter, Berk Catted Front Pipe, and Invidia N1 Catback. I've been really considering the borla UEL header. My Deatchworks pump is on the way actually...getting your E85 map soon hopefully
