That is a car way better than a S5...for about the same money.

Audi has a pimp interior though...
Ah I see. Shame, ah well, not my car :/ well, how does the S5 overall stack then not comparing it to the M3 lol

OK, I said it once I'll say it again...

The white car they seem to be working on appears to be either a TRD or Modellista model from the brochure scans we've seen, so the Carbon Fiber roof probably comes from one of those departments and might not even be on a production model.

Thats my guess at least. If they do have a TRD version with a CF roof, its not going to be cheap...

I might have to consider a White FRS...It might show the lines better...but black will also look mean...Dammit!
My dad saw one of those, in KY no less. He saw the FRS pic while I was looking at it and told me he saw a Lexus coupe parked outside work. It confused the hell out of me at first, I kept saying that Lexus only has sedans. I was showing him G37s thinking maybe he saw one of those. I finally remembered that Lexus did infact make a coupe(my face <.> *derp*) and pulled it up and he recognized it!

If only he had taken a picture.
Now he wants one for his birthday, but I am just shaking my head and laughing, saying they don't sell them anymore and noone is going to sell you theirs. Nevermind that they start at $375k but w/e.

But that may mean that the base model will have the ability to upgrade...but then again I don't know if I've ever heard of a car that had the capability to upgrade the roof...

the evo8/9/10 had a roof that could be upgraded to carbon
the current STI has the ability to upgrade the roof from the factory.

even recent BMWs has the ability as well.

I remember seeing a video of the EVO 8 MR. It has an aluminium roof attached to a steel body. The way they atached the pressed aluminium roof to the steel body was by drilling a bunch of holes on the ends and riveting it to the steel body. I guess the same method could be used with the FT-86...how hard can it be! hahaha

Also the M3 (GTS?) has a carbon fibre roof and that is based on the 3 series coupe which is a steel body construction also...

My 2 cents.

edit: crap WoW beat me hahaha
