Exhaust tips

Was talking to a local shop owner today about modifying my exhaust, and I got to wondering what the community at large thinks:

When looking at aftermarket tips for the twins, do you prefer rolled tips or straight cut?

How about the blued "titanium" look or stainless/chrome?

I am leaning toward rolled with stainless, but was just wondering what you all thought...

Tips that fit and are straight are the most important to me, but there's a flavor for everyone. If they're centered, don't stick out too far and are around 4" in diameter, I'm satisfied. I like both the titanium burnt tips and the stainless.

Tips should fill up the rear cutout from 4.5" to 4.75" dia. size, rolled and stainless like Greddy Elite is best !

Perrin makes good tips(pricey). Why not just save $$$ and get a real exhaust?

I spent $130 on 4in. Vibrant dual walled/slant cut tips welded on by a shop. Cheaper then the Perrin and kept the full oem exhaust like I wanted. I was going to do the Perrin tips, but couldnt pass on a local shop deal. Totally satisfied and looks oem.

This is more of a "Cosmetic Modification" than "Engine, Exhaust, Transmission, ECU"

My preference, however, is anything along the lines of the Perrin tips. (I have the Perrin cat-back).

I absolutely abhor the burnt ti tips. So rice.

It was the first thing I did. Went to the exhaust shop and had them remove the god awful stock tips, which are just clamped on, and had them weld some Vibrant 4" slant tips on. They are the same tips that I have on my 2012 Camaro. I would've opted for the FR-S with the Borla exhaust but it sounded the same as stock, just with different tips.

Ti tips look nice if you want the extra attention. Rolled brushed SS look best imo

Thanks for the feedback. I think I am going all stainless with my exhaust when I get it done again.

I personally love the JDM tips on mine until I have enough money for an exhaust.
